ITINERARY CRITICISED.
ANOTHER WEEK DESIRED. SYDNEY, March 11. The Rugby reporter of the "Sydney Morning Herald," commenting on the proposal by the New Zealand Rugby Union that the All Blacks' tour of Australia this season should begin with a match at Melbourne on July 16 and end with a match in Sydney on August 13, says that means only five Saturdays available for the tour. He aildn that :t is customary to have six Saturday matches and that it appears that if Melbourne is to have one of the fixtures there should be six Saturday matches, as it may make all the difference to the financial success or failure of the tour. The New South Wales Rugby Union, which acted on behalf of the Australian State unions, planned to have six Saturdays. If these are reduced to five, either Brisbane will have to lose one of its two Saturdavs. or Sydney one of its three, leaving Melbourne with one. Thn pmsrammo desired by the New South Wales Union could have been achieved if the New Zealand team delayed its departure f r °m Australia for a week.
