The New Zealand Rugby Council approved of a visit being paid to Fiji tliie year by a representative Maori team. The team will leave the Dominion on. July 12, and be back in Auckland on August 5. The team will play a match at Wangauui before leaving and another at Auckland on its return, subject to acceptance of this arrangement by the unions concerned. Approval ha<s also been given to the playing of the Prince of Walee Cup games at Wairoa on May 26, the date of the unveiling of the Sir James Carroll memorial. The council intimated that the playing of matches between tribes has the council's support.
