'PLANE CRASHES.
LANDING MISJUDGED. PILOT LITTLE INJURED. END TO NIGHT FLIGHTS. (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) PALMERSTOX NORTH, this day. There was an unfortunate termination iii-t night to night-flying te*ts for B licenses conducted at the Milson aerodrome when a Moth machine, ZK—ABA, crashed as a nvnilt of the pilot, Mr. Maurice McKenzie, of North. misjudging hi s landing.
The machine turned over on its back, smashing the propeller and extensively damaging the wings ami tail. Mr. MeKenzie crawled out of the cockpit with only a slight cut over the eye. Testis had been successfully conducted by various pilots from eight o'clock, and. it was on the last flight of the night that the mishap occurred. Mr. McKenzie was particularly unfortunate in that he had made six prior successful flights during the evening. Landing was by means of the usual regulation flares.
