ORDERS IGNORED.

Passengers on 111-Fated Launch Rodney. NO CRIMINAL NEGLIGENCE. SYDNEY. March 10. The inquest into the deaths of the Rodney disaster victims was concluded to-day. The police gave evidence' to the effect that the vessel did not appear to be overloaded. The owner of the craft, Mr. Rosman, said he told a deckhand to send the people off the top deck, but they refused to leave. He ordered some of them down, but they immediately returned. The coroner found that the deaths were accidentally caused, but said it could not be disputed that an excessive number of passengers had been carried on the Rodney's top deck. The master was liable under the Navigation Act, but the evidence did not show that he was guilty of negligence that would approach criminal negligence.
