ARE WE A RACE OF PRUDES ?

A definite answer to this discueeion of magazines was adequately given in the other night's "Star." This so-called "filthy" literature, much of it published and edited in England, is true to life, no matter what they say. I have been reading all these true stories since I was 16, finding recreation and education in them. I am now the mother of three children and they have certainly not harmed me in any way. The librarian wants to clean up his own hoiise before he starts talking about filthy book.-. Because a few old maids and blue-nosed gentlemen start trying to deprive the general public of their reading matter they had letter think twice. It seeiiw very obvious, that they have axes to jrrind. Lot those who don't want them leave them alone. HANDS OFF.
