RISE IN BUTTER.
NEW ZEALAND AT 119/. -HIGHEST PRICE THIS YEAR. DANISH PREMIUM REDUCED. (Received 11 a.m.) LONDON, March 10. The butter market is firm,✓ Danish selling at 122/ per cwt, choicest salted Australian and New Sealand from 118/ to 110/, and unsalted at 119/ and 120/. Cheese is steady, with New Zealand white and coloured from 68/6 to 69/, and Australian white at 67/. The price for salted New Zealand is up 3/ on last week's rates, while Danish is slightly lower. The premium on Danish has been reduced to a very small margin, namely 3/ per cwt, compared with 28/ at this time last year.
