STRONGLY CRITICISED.
AUCKLAND HOSPITAL BOARD. (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) HAMILTON, fhfirsAay. The action of the Auckland Hospital Board in transferring the Waikato crippled children from their care to the Wilson Home without the consent oi the Waikato Hospital Board raised strong criticism at the monthly meeting of the Weikato Board to-day. The chairman, Mr. J. J. Syburn, said that the Waikato Board should have been consulted before the transportation. The children were in the care of the Auckland Board, but the Waikato Board guaranteed the hospital fees.
On the motion of Mr. E. G. Day it wae decided not to pay more than 12/ per. day in the oases' under consideration, and to seek a guarantee that there would be no further transference.
