OUT OF CONTROL.

INVALID MOTOR CHAIR. CRIPPLE FATALLY INJURED. (From Own Correspondent.) WELLINGTON', Tuesday. Injuries wliicli proved fatal were suffered by an invalid. Mr. Charles Tremewan. aged 53. of Hiuncwnod Avenue. Karori. when his motor chair apparently pot out of control and overturned on a steep jrrade in Svdnev street to-day. On his way to the city, Mr. Tremewan had travelled a long distance before turning into .Sydney Street. Xo one saw the accident, but a passer-by found Mr. Tremewan lying at the roadside in an unconscious condition. having been thrown out of his chair. Jt appeared as though, in an attempt to check the increasing speed of the chair, he had steered it toward the kerb. On the arrival of an ambulance. Mr. I remewan's condition was critical, his head having been severely injured. He was taken to the Wellington Hospital and died about four hours after admission without regaining consciousness.
