ANNUAL PICNIC.

GLENFIELD SCHOOL. Children attending tlio Glenfield school were taken by bus to Takapuna Beach for their annual picnic. They were under the charge of the headmaster. Mr. A. Benton, and the assistant. Miss C. McKinney. A lengthy programme of sports provided enjoyable entertainment. The members of the school committee, Mrs. M. Douglas (secretary), Messrs. B. Pannill (chairman), Kobert ]>ouglas, John Macey and A. \y. I,eppard. worked hard to ensure the success of the outing, which was the best yet held by the school.
