GOLDEN CROWN. i . ' INTERMEDIATE LEVEL. Mr. A. A. Adams, manager of the Golden Crown (Komata) minp. rpports on the new development at the intermediate level as follows :—■ If is quite evident that the old WaitPkauri Company, when they drove north on what they eorsidered to be the No. 2 reef, followed the hanging wall branch and » missed the rich foot wall branch that was followed down in Houghton's winze. We have now driven 25ft on this reef, and it is going direct for the winze sunk hv this company in the Golden Crown level llOft above. The reef in the bottom of this winze is well defined, and assays £2."> per ton. The face of the intermediate level will have to be driven another Kioft to reach a point under this winze, so that the prospects for a valuable block of ore are exceedingly bright. MANAGERS' REPORTS.
