MAJOR ARTHUR T. PURVIS,
Major Arthur F. Purvis, M.C.. who has been military secreta. to the Governorfieneral. Viscount CJalwav, will leave shortly for England, and" will be succeeded by Captain R. G. G. Byron, of the Royal Dragoon Guards, who will arrive early next month. Major Purvis has Wen an officer of the Scots Greys since 191."). and served with that regiment in the war. He was with the British military mission to the armed forces of South Russia in 1919 and 1920. Mrs. Purvis has accompanied Ladv Gal way to Sydney for the sesquicentenary celebrations.
