AUSTRALIA BOUND.
CRUISERS LEAVE TO-MORROW. SYDNEY ANNIVERSARY REGATTA. *- The cruisers of the New Zealand Division of the Royal Navy, Achilles and Leander, are scheduled to sail to-morrow afternoon for Australian waters. The flagship Achillea will proceed direct to Sydney and the' Leander to Melbourne, according.to present arrangements, later meeting at Jervis Bay to co-operate with units of the Australian Squadron in exercises. Various parades, regattas and other functions have been organised, and at the Sydney Anniversary Regatta on January 26 members of the complement of the Achilles will compete with crews of the Australian warships in pulling and sailing races. Ratings from the Achilles staged pulling races this morning on the harbour to select teams to compete. This will probably be the last Australian cruise for Rear-Admiral the Hon. E. R. Drummond, Commodore Commanding the New Zealand Station, as bis commission on tbe station is timed to expire in April,
