Rear-Admiral and Mrs. H. J. Feakes, of Sydney, are staying at Hotel Stonehurst.

Mr. E. L. Kutledge. of Wellington, is visiting Auckland, and is at the Waver - lev Hotel. Sir William Hunt, accompanied hy Lady Hunt, has arrived in Wellington from the South. Mr. -Tames Fletcher, accomp-.nied by Mrs. Fletcher, left for Wellington t>y the Limited express last nislit. Captain J. W. Burgess, of Wellington, was a passenger for the South by yesterday's- afternoon express. Mr. Stewart Edwards, of South Australia. who has been visiting NewZealand. leaves by the Wanganella on Monday night. Mr. Justice O'Regan. who is visiting relatives on the west coast, of the South Island, will leave to return to Auckland on January 23.

The Hon. \Y. lee Martin. Minister of Agriculture, arrived at Tuakau \ esterday afternoon, and visited the children's health camp at Port Waikato to-day. He will attend the Onewhero sports, to-morrow.

Mr. A. L. Thompson. M.R.C.Y.S.. of Dunedin. has completed a year of postgraduate study in veterinary research. He is to return to Xew Zealand in January to undertake research work for the Xew Zealand Department of Agriculture. Mr. Thompson lias r-tudied in Denmark. Cambridse and London.

Sir (George Broadbridpre. recently retired Lord flavor of London, who will represent the C'itv of London at the New South Wales loOtli anniversary celebrations, may make a trip to New Zealand before he returns to England. He is anxious to visit the Dominion, but is not sure whether his Australian engagements will allow liini sufficient time. .Sir George has a relative in New Zealand —Mr. Bresc-ey, Dunedin.
