INVALID INJURED.

Abrasions and shock were suffered by a young man, Mr. Desmond Leith, aged 19 of *8, Tole Street, Ponsonby, when his invalid chair came into collision with a motor car about 8.40 o'clock last Mr. Leith was returning from his work in the city, proceeding along Ponsonby Road from Three Lamps. He was about to turn into Tole Street when he collided with the ear, which was travelling in the same direction. He was taken home and treated by Dr. J. E. Hastings.
