STUDENT CONFERENCE ENDS.
Opened at St. CtrthbertV College, Epsom. last Wednesday, the annual conference of the New Zealand Student Christian Movement closed to-day. Some 40 old members and friends of the movement were entertained yesterday at lunch and the afternoon was devoted to swimming sports in the college hath?.
In the morning the Rev. D. X. MaeDiarmid. director-designate of missions of the Presbyterian Church, gave an address on "The Missionary Church."' It was mentioned that a large number of vacancies for all types of missionary service existed in the rank& of the great miseionarv societies.
