OFF TO WAITOMO- TO-DAY.

For the first time since they landed in Wellington on December 4 the British touring team of bowlers had a win yesterday afternoon, when they played a fourrink match against a representative Auckland team consisting largely of club presidents. The last game to finish becaine quite exciting, for a sharp little shower interrupted play with one head still to go, and the other three game* finished, show* ing the sides equal with two wins each, and the aggregate score 76 to 75. in favour of Britain. The remaining head built up against Auckland, and- although the skip played two fast runs into the head he still left the visitors counting 4 shots, winning on the aggregate by 80 ito 75.
