Garden lovers who were privileged to be present at the final meeting of the year must have considered the time well spent as they listened to Miss Mankelow's address on the "Romance of the Garden." Her sense of humour, combined with her knowledge of gardeners and thei* gardens throughout °the ages was moist interesting and. entertaini&g. Soloists for the afternoon were Mioses Taylor and Massey. Competitions also created interest. j
