The engagement is announced between Jean Aileen, eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W. Sullivan, of Domain Road, Whakatane, and Solwyn Wood, voungest son of Mr. and Mrs. John W. Holdgate, of North Street, Timaru.
The engagement is announced of Sylvia Rose, youngest daughter of Mrs. I. Meurant, of Auckland, and Raymona John, eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. R. E. Dreland, "Longfields," St. Helier's, Jersey, England.
