VANQUISH PAPATOETOE. A friendly cricket match between the Selwy n-Oraka and Papatoetoe teams resulted in a win for the former by 89 runs. Details are as follow:—
Selwyn-Oraka.—First innings, 254 (B. Ijowry 132 not out, Vallance 45, R. Lowrj 25, Callaghan 21). Bowling: Swaffield took four wickets for 54 runs, Broberg two for 63. Anderson two for 38.
Papatoetoe.—First innings, 165 (Broberc 41, Havill 39, Anderson 20). Bowling: R. I.owry took two wickets for 5 runs, Vallance two for 38, P. Callaghan three for 4S.
