While playing on an upturned boat at Stringer's Point, Otahuhu. yesterday a 13-year-old lad who could not swim fell

off in deep water and got into difficulties. His plight was unobserved for some few minutes, but when the attention of Allan Box, a junior member of the Otahuhu Swimming Club, was drawn to the lad he immediately dived in aiid. after a struggle, brought him safely to the shore.
