HIT BY BARREL.

Struck on the head by a barrel winch was being unloaded from the Northern Company's coastal vessel Kanginui at Central wharf yesterday, Mr. James MacGrepor. a widower, aged 69. of 103G, Great North Road, Point Chevalier, suffered concussion and laceration of the skull. He was taken to the Auckland Hospital in a St. John ambulance, and his condition to-day, though 6till serious, showed some improvement.
