BURIAL OF MINISTER.
mS 6 ,- . burial - .° f tbe well-known Methodist minister, the Rev. S Griffith who died on Sunday, took place at the Waikumete Cemetery yesterday afternoon. The community was widely represented at the Mount Eden Methodist Church where the principal service was held. At the house a brief service wrs conducted bv the Rev. F. J. Parker, and at the church prayers were offered y the Rev. E. D. Patchett, chairman ,- >r . i', e Auckla,, d district of the Methodist Church, and by the Rev. A. Mitchell, the benpture lesson was read by the Rev A. C. Nelson, who represented the Auckland Ministers' Association. An address was given by Dr. C. H. Laws Associated with Mr. Parker at the graveside were the Rev. S. J. Werren and the Rev. E. T. Olds.
