CHRISTMAS PARTY.

AUCKLAND FABIAN CLUB. The annual Christmas psirty of the Auckland Fabian Club was held at the clubrooms, 3, Queen Street, last Saturday e.vening, when about 200 members and their friends assembled. The rooms were beautifully decorated with coloured streamers and flowers, the arrangeriients being in the hands of the president, Mr. C. A. Dawson, the honorary secretary, Mr. Percy Humphreys, and members of the executive, Mesdames E. Winifred Moore, J. C. Humphreys, I. MeCready and R. K. Price, Miss Francis, ' Messrs. J. S. Stewart, F. Hutchinson, L. Lynch, and the Hon. Bernard Martin. According to custom, burning snapdragon was carried round 011 trays, to the great amusement of the many "children present. Dancing, games and competitions were enjoyed. Songs were riling by Mrs. D. McDonald and a clever monologue* was given by Mr. Jack Parsons. Supper was served by the committee.
