MINERS' DISPUTE.

QUESTION OF BUS FARE. CONFERENCE IN AUCKLAND. A conference will be held in Auckland this evening to discuss the dispute which arose at Huntly in connection with the bus fare to the McDonald mine, which is controlled by (Jlcn Afton Collieries. Ltd. About ~>o of the 200 men employed there live at Huntly, and travel daily by bus to their work. Recently the fare was increased from 2/ to 2/4 weekly, and the men censed work for one day as a protest.

At the conference with the company tliis evening the Northern Jfncr.<' Union will be represented by Messrs. T. Hut " chinson, .1. Lister, T. H;i 11 and H. Hall.
