NEW ORGANISATION.
FREEDOM ASSOCIATION. PLANS FOR THE NEW YEAR. It is intended to hold the inaugural meeting of the Auckland Provincial Freedom Association early in the new year. The organiser, Professor R. MAlgie, paid to-day that special conwnittees were appointed to deal with the preliminary work of the organisation, and an soon as the holidays were over a meeting would be called to adopt the reports of the committees,* and make the formal appointments of the officers. I lie founders of the association are convinced that there was urgent need for its formation, and they have been •ireat.lv encouraged by the response f^ m till sections of the community. Ihe association would have the services of a l.o(Iv of men who would be representative' of the city and country interests, mid wliij» would make an immediate appeal to the trust and confidence of t lie public.
