INJURY FROM FALLS.
FOUR PEOPLE IN HOSPITAL
As the result of accidental falls during the week-end four people were admitted to the Auckland Hospital. Reports to-day indicated that none of the cases is regarded as serious.
Falling from a camp-stool at her home on Saturday, Shirley Alison Adams, aged eight years, who lives with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. C. Adams, of 8. Rarawa Road. Onehunga, suffered a fractured left elbow.
A fractured elbow was also suffered by Mr. Peter Wyatt, aged 04, married, of Paparata, Bombay, when he fell from a liayrake on Saturday.
When he slipped while endeavouring to jump from the roof of a boatshed at Birkenhead on Saturday, Andrew Mitchell, aged 11, son of Mr. and Mrs. W. Andrew, of 6, Copeland Street, Eden Terrace, suffered concussion.
Mr. James Ewart. aged 38, married, of ]»i, Wilson Street. Orev Lynn, fell from a. 1 Oft ladder while painting his house >n Saturday. He suffered a compound fracture of the right forearm. A fractured great toe and abrasions were suffered by a motor cyclist, Mr. Charles Bryan, aged 25, of 12, Balfour Road, Parnell, when he collided with a motor car while riding his motor cycle down Queen Street at about seven o'clock on Saturday night. At St. John ambulance conveyed him to the Auckland Hospital, where he was treated at tlip casualty department and allowed to proceed home.
