PAPAKURA SALE. A moderate yarding was offered in the dairy section at the Panakura sale yesterday conducted by the Xew Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company, Mr. ,T. Xo quality cattle were offered, the best of those in the dairy section making up to £8; fair cows, £5 10/ to £7: backward. £4 to £5 5/: fat cows, to £8 5/; good sorts, £6 to £7 10/: lighter. £4 10/ to £5 15/; meaty cows, £3 to £45/; bulls, £3 to £7 2/6; weaner pigs, to 19/. A quantity of timber and an assortment of farm sundries sold under good competition to a fair bench of buyers.
