EACH MAKES A CENTURY. W. AND R. DUNNING AT MATAKANA. The outstanding feature !n the Rodney cricket competitions on Saturday was an opening partnership for Matakana, in which \V. Dunning and It. Dunning, father and son, each scored centuries. W. Dunning knocked up a bright 102 and retired unbeaten, while It. Dunning carried liis lint for the saiue score. The partnership yielded 204, and the side made 2.52 for three wickets (declared). The scores were:— Matakana.—2:>2 for three wickets (W. Dunning H>2, retired, R. Dunning 101! not out). Power Board.—o2 (Toice 29).
