WEATHER FORECAST.
FOR CITT AND PROVINCE. Th# Government Meteorologist issued to the "Auckland Star" this afternoon the following epecial weather forecast for the Auckland province to as far south as Hamilton, Kawhia and Tauranga:— Light to moderate northerly to westerly winds. Weather fair to line and warm. Seas slight to moderate. An anti-cyclone extenda across northern New Zealand, while a series of sli?ht westerly depressions is passing in ths south. FOR THE DOMINION. For 24 hours from 9 a.m. this day: The indications are for moderate northerly and variable breexes prevailing. There is a prospect of warm and fair to cloudy weather. The barometer hae a falling tendency. Seas smooth to moderate. HAURAKI GULF CONDITIONS. The following report of weather conditions in the Hauraki Gulf was received from Tiritiri Island at noon to-day:— Wind, south. moderate; sea, moderate; weather, flne with ecattered clouds; visibility, good; barometer, rising slowly.
