HIT BY FALLING TREE.

FATALITY AT KAITIEKE. FINDING AT INQUEST. (From Onr Own Correspondent.) TAUMARUNUI, this day. An inquest into the death of William Ernest Buchanan, who was killed in the bush on Mr. A. H. Holder's property in Kawautalii Road, Kaitieke, on November 22, was completed yesterday afternoon. A man who was working with Buchanan and was injured said he was knocked unconscious when Buchanan and. he were struck by a falling tree. He considered it was purely an accident. A verdict wae returned that Buchanan died from injuries received when a dead tree fell upon him while he was engaged in a bush, the actual cause of death being iritercranial haemorrhage and a broken back.
