FRUIT GUARANTEE.

FIXED FOR NEXT SEASON.

The guaranteed price for apples and pears exported from New Zealand in the coming season has been fixed by the Government at 11/ a case, stated Mr. F. Firth, Auckland representative of the New Zealand Fruit Export Control board, yesterday. He estimated that the quantity exported would be close on 1,250,000 cases.

"Arrangements are being made by the board to export to the United Kingdom, Canada, Rio de Janeiro, Santos, Jamaica and such Continental countries as it is possible to supply," Mr. Firth stated.
