HAMILTOJT APPLICATION.

After hearing considerable argument yesterday by coiu ol in the motion seeking a new; trial of the action in which a Hamilton jury awarded Charles Scivier Goodwill, garage proprietor, £508 special and" £2000 general damages Against two defendants, Mrs. -Kathleen Saulbroy, of Ngaruawahia, and Edwin James Parry, of Wiri, farmer, Mr. Justice Callan intimated that he would not grant a new trial in respect of Mrs. Sanlbrey, but would reserve his decision in respect of the defendant Pairy. His Honor added that he did not expect to give his reserved decision before February.

Tim plaintiff in the action, C. S. Goodwill, wns represented by Mr. Tompkins and Mr. Manning. Mr. Strang appeared Saulbrey and Mr. North for E. J- Parry.
