"WRECKERS OF ASTRONOMY." (Received 12.30 p.m.) LONDON. December lrt. The "Daily Tek-gni].V tawcnw correspondent says a number of "wreckers of astronomy"' have been removed from Soviet observatories. The entire Astronomical Council of the Academy of Sciences has been liquidated and President Fesenkoff dismissed. It is asserted that the scientists delayed choosing sites for new observatories.
