CENTENNIAL EXHIBITION.
GOOD PROGRESS REPORTED. Whole-hearted co-operation from all parts of the .Dominion reported by the general manager of the Centennial Exhibition Company, Mr. C. P. Hainsworth. in a recent bulletin. It is mentioned that the company's architect is completing his detailed drawings and (specifications and that tenders for the exhibition buildings will be called in January. The site of 60 acres at Rongotai has been levelled in readiness for the building work. The ii~sue of the business pro«pe<"tus to firms of manufacturers and others in New Zealand and overseas has met with a gratifying response. Applications from leading firms represent many thousands of feet of spa re. The manager states tha<t a committee of experts has tinder consideration a numi>er of scheme® of flood-lighting and decorative illumination.
