EVELYN FIRTH HOME.
CHRISTMAS PARTY. An enjoyable entertainment was given by Mrs. F. H. Hobday, of Epsom, when a concert party was taken to the Evelyn Firth Home. Those taking part were: Mrs. F. H. Hobday, Mrs. Preston-Thomas, Mrs. R, Reed, Misses K. Christie, D. Saunders, J. Hutton, Ida Lockwood, Kathleen Teape, B. Page, Messrs. Dan Flood, A. J, Matthews, R. Ruslien and A. Wright. The stipper room was gaily decorated with Christmas colourings, including roses, gladioli and miniature coloured lilies. A vote of thanks by one of the inmates was received with acclamation.
