EMBASSY THEATRE. A dwtinfjuwhed cast of comedian*, both of the sophisticated and more boisterous •styles, make "Ever Since Eve," now •howing at the Embassy Theatre, a riot of fun. The main players are Robert Montgomery and Marian Davies, but Patsy Kelly goes very close to being the star of the production. In support are Frank McHiign. Allen Jenkins and Louise Fazenda. The story of the film concerns the adventures of a beautiful secretary embarrassed by the attentions of her various employers. She dresses up in hornrimmed spectacles, a straight bob and an atrocious tweed costume, and gets a post as secretary to an author (Montgomery). For various reasons she has to leave him. but he finds that he cannot do without her efficiency. When he goes to look for her he meets her undisguised, and falls in love with her. There is a hilarious tangle of identities which has the traditional weddinjr bells climax. The leading players both give fine portrayals.
