SIGNS OF RAIN.
When rain is on the way sounds (e.g., distant railway trains) are heard much clearer than usual. Birds fly rather low. Smoke hangs low. Distant hills are seen more distinctly than at other times. Frogs croak loudly. Crows creatt much noise. Fish jump out of the water. Flies become lazy. Cams, old W: unds and rheumatic join* 5 become painful.
