GARDEN PARTY.
PAPAKURA PLUNKET.
The Papakura branch of the Franklin Plunket Society held a successful garden party at the residence of Air. and Airs. O. H. Crut in aid of the branch s funds. There were various stalls and competitions, all of which did good business. The winners of the competitions were: — Quoits, Aliss Gunthorpe; advertisement, Airs. Franklin; Christmas cake, Airs. A. Willis; picture, Ml "' T \ D " lt () 'B a, 'd; box of sweets, Mrs. I\. L C larkson ; children s best-decorated vehicle, Dorothy Kernot 1, Betty and Bob Carpenter tied for second place.
