SAN FRANCISCO, December 6. A message from Oakland, California, states that the famous boxer, Max Baer, has become the father of a son, thereby winning 1000 dollars from Jack Dempsey, who wagered that the child would be a girl. Baer, who was highly nervous, hinted to an interviewer that he would attempt a "come-back" against the winner of the Braddock-Farr match in February. "I have something to fight for now," he said.
