CLUB ACTIVITIES.
ENTRIES FOR X.Z.T.T.
The Auckland Motor Cycle Club will conclude the year's activities with a meeting at Muriwai on Sunday, commencing in the morning. The programme will consist of club speed trials with the •electric tuning gear, together with four motor cycle events and two car races..
Several improvements have been made by the Ostend Road Board to the N.Z.T.T. course at Waiheke, and, should fine weather be experienced, new records are likely. The entries to date are:— W. Grey (Levis), J. Dale (Matchless), L. Albrecht (Vincent H.R.D.), L. Perry (Velocette), Trevor Crovder (Levis), H. Matthews (Rudge), Paul Clarkson (Velocette) and F. Dixon (Levis). So keen has competition become among trial riders that it has been decided by the Auckland Motor Cycle Club to continue the trials right through the summer. At the "smoko" last Tuesday night two handsome cups were donated for competition by Messrs Bill White and Jack Dale.
The monthly meeting of the Auckland Motor Cycle Club will be held in the chibrooiiis to-night at 8 o'clock.
.Several congratulatory letters have been received by the cl :b for its strong action in dealing with offenders causin" unnecesary noise with open exhausts', especially in built-up area*. It is hoped in a short time to eliminate this nuisance altogether,
