NEWTON EAST MISSION.

SEASON'S FINAL MEETING.

Newton East Mission Hall was well filled for the final meeting of the year of the mothere. The leader, Mrs. M. E. Morrish, was in the chair, and after the singing of some chorusee Mis s G. Mackenzie led in prayer. Very helpful addresses were given by Mrs. Stimpson on "Today," and by Mr. A. G. Menzies on "Friendship." Soloe were sung by Miss E. Mathieson, Mre. Brown, Miss A. Carpenter, Mrs. WanhiFl, Mr. Beasley, Miss E. Lloyd, and Mre. Hugh Kasper. Recitations were given by Mise Vera Hullah, Meeter Keith and T>on McGregor and Esme Taylor. A trio by the Sunday school scholars, a duet by Mrs. Lee and Miss J. Armit, and a quartet by ladies of the mission were also enjoyed. A comprehensive report of the year's work was given by the secretary, Mre. Best. Many helpers and mothere were recipients of bouquets donated by Mrs. Brown. Prizes for attendance were presented by Mr«. Morrish, and special mention was made of Mrs. Hullah's faithful and loyal service throughout the year. A special bouquet was aleo given to Mrs. Brown for eervice.
