STRAWBERRIES CHEAPER. GRAPES SELL SLOWLY. HEAVY POTATO SUPPLIES. Supplies of strawberries at the City Markets to-day were larger, witih values easier. Tjhere was a good demand for loganberries at the prices given, and cherries and gooseberries had a fair inquiry. The demand was fair for both lemons and grapefruit, but grapee ha:l a elow sale. A few peaches were available. Quotations: —Apples: Dougherty, 5/ to 9/ case; Canadian Jonathan. 25/ to 26/; Canadian Wineeap, 25/ to 26/. Pears: P. Barry, 8/ to 9/ case; Winter Coles and Xelie, 4/ to 12/. Tomatoes: Outdoor, extra choice, 3d to 8d lb; hothouse, 6d to lid lb. Oranges: Australian, 22/ to 26/ case; Jamaican, 25/6 to 29/6.
