JUBTJLEE CL.TTB. i ANNUAL MEETING HELD. i When the annual meeting of the Jubilee Rowing Club was held in Pearson House, New Zealand Institute for the Blind, Mr. D. Mcl'hee presided over a good muster of members. The annual report showed that steady progress has been made during the past season and for the first time in the history of the club four-oar and pair oar events had been decided.

Congratulations were extended to R. Gherardi's crew for being the first holders of the Jubilee trophy for champion fours, and to F. Robinson's crew for winning the St. Dunstan'e trophy for champion pair oars. It w r as stated that the members were looking forward to possessing two new pair-oar boats which were being constructed by the vice-presi-dent, Mr. P. R. Grahame, and were nearins completion.

Six sighted members were elected to the club and their assistance to the blind members will be of considerable value. The vice-patron, Mr. A. C. Norden, offered to arrange a race between two of the club's crews at one of the regattas during the coming season and to provide a trophy for the event.

A resolution w»s passed expressing appreciation of Sir Ernest Dav»' generosity in making club members hk guests at a dinner on November 4, cud for his offer to donate a trophy for competition. It was decided that the club would open its season on Saturday, Dec-ember 4. Xh( membership is expected to reach 25. Votes of thanks were expressed to'j{r A. Lawson for his work as coach since the club's inception and for his work aa honorary secretary during the past year and to Mr. E. F. Frayling, the retiring treasurer. Votes of thanks were also passed to the board of trustees and othera who had given valuable help to the club Officers elected: —Patron, Sir Oratha Mackenzie: vice-patron. Mr. A. C.
