MILK VENDORS.

RETURNS REQUIRED.

CANCELLED LICENSES. COUNCIL'S FUTURE ACTION. Failure on the part of vendors to furnish returns as required within a period of 14 days was discussed at a meeting of the Auckland Metropolitan Milk Council this morning. Mr. E. F. Andrews contended that in such instances licensee should be cancelled without notice, and he pointed out the amount of trouble that was caused to the board's office. The chairman, Mr. I. J. Goldstine, said that if they sent a circular out informing licensees that in the event of returns not being furnished licenses would be cancelled, it might do a lot of good. The board decided to cancel two license« for not furnishing returns. A Member: What will happen if they apply for another license? The Chairman: It will cost them another 10/. We can let them know what our action will be in the future.
