HARRIS HORDER, CYCLIST.

Holder of the American sprint cycling championship for the past three years and five time* of the Australian championship, Harris Horder has a telling memory of his visit to New Zealand eleven years ago.
"Sure I rememl>«r a lot about New Zealand —I've got a grand memento of my visit," said Mr. Horder this morning wlien he arrived from America en route for Australia. "Look at this! 1 broke the fingers of my right hand here."
Mr. Horder, who is an Australian by birth, but now an American citizen, haa not seen his native country for eleven years. He called here on his way over to America, and since then he has made a name for himself in the country of six-day bicycle races. He has a memento of one he competed in just before hie departure from America in the shape of a broken shoulder. He rode for the last twelve hours with it broken and finished fourth. That was at Hollywood.
In addition to the sprint championship of America, Mr. Horder holds five world record times. He is associated also with the motion picture industry as a publicity man.
' Also on the Monterey were three American motor cycle racing champions, 1 J. Milne, "Blusy" -Wilkinson and Jack Hobson, who are bound for Australia and the dirt track there.
