ROTO ROA 111 MATE CHARGED.

1 Stated, by Sub-Inspector Fox to be I well known in the Police Court as well as at Koto Roa Inebriates' Island, Peter O'Malley, aged 54, appeared before Mr. F. K. Hunt, S.M., yesterday, charged with escaping from lawful custody. O'Malley pleaded not guilty, ! Mr. Fox alleged that O'Malley, who hail been brought from Koto Koa, where he was an inmate, to the city on Tuesday to have his. teeth attended to, had escaped and got drunk. f Mr. Hunt remanded O'Malley until 1 Mouday.
