SOCIAL AFTERNOON.
COMMUNITY SUNSHINE
The Epsom branch of the Community Sunshine Association held an enjoyabfe bridge afternoon in the Farmers' Trading Company's reception rooms on Monday. The guests were, welcomed by the president, Mrs. W. G. Gladding, assisted by Mrs. R. J. S. Gray and Mrs. N. A. Kyle, social conveners, and the committee, Mrs. R. A. Vibert, secretary, Mrs. R. E. Crawley, treasurer, Mrs. Williams, and Mrs. S. Carr.
The hostesses for the afternoon were: Mesdames Hughes, Swain, Fowke, Newman, Shaw, Gaudin, Turner, Miller, Carr, Moody, Gray, Kyle, Preston-Thomas, Frost.
The prize-winners were as follows: Contract, Mrs. A. Hall Skelton; consolation,. Mrs. Reid. Auction, Mrs. PrestonThomas; hidden number, Mrs. Hudson; connotation, Mrs. Keen.
