The air mail service with flying boats between Britain and Australia may be able to start early in the New Year in spite of the delay in the construction of bases as was reported yesterday. Mr. J. A. Lyons said the Commonwealth would do everything possible to hurry the start of the service, and if the cost was not too high temporary facilities would probably be provided.
