INJURY TO A DIRECTOR.

(Received 0.30 a.m.) PALM SPRINGS (C'al.), Nov. 24. Slipping when about to throw it, Dorothy Litiiimir hurled a knife at Cieorpo Arr-hainbaud, tlie director of her new film, and gashed him in the arm, necessitating insertion of four •titches. The knife should have landed near the head of her leading man, Ray Milland.
