Shortly before hie death Rubinstein wae bold enough to assert that the great increase of women composers and executants was one of the sign* ot the decline in the art of mueic.
The use of finger-prints for identification is thought to have been originated by M. Bertillon, but the credit really belongs to Sir Edward Henry, the late Commissioner of Police of the Metropolis.
